Lately, I've been busy making party favors for bridal showers, fundraisers and High School Reunions, but Market season is upon us. So as Spring desperately struggles to break through and Winter refuses let let go, I've had cabin fever which has also led to a slew of new kreations for the upcoming Hudson Valley Holistic Markets! I'm so excited to bring these new kreations to Market this season! This Sunday, April 22, is Earth Day. What better day than Earth Day to share some all natural, Earth friendly, healing soaps and creams! Come join us if you're in the area. Just a heads up, the Market dates that I will be participating in are 4/22, 5/20, 6/24 and 8/26. My friend's daughter is getting married this Summer and she asked me to make favors for the bridal shower. The color scheme is blush and navy. Navy is obviously too dark a color for soaps with all natural ingredients and blush is kind of boring, so I needed to come up with something to "spice up" the blush. I came up with three different kreations for her to choose from. She chose the second bar, so lucky you, the other two will be featured at the Magikal May Market (5/20) and on the website starting May 22! Like I said, cabin fever leads to kreative moments, so aside from replenishing my existing inventory and fulfilling party favor orders, I also kreated a few new soaps. Introducing the 2 favor runners up: Ruby Red Cranberry Cocktail, and Blushing Bride. Also new to the market are Ocean Breeze, Eucalyptus Lemon Elevation and as per my last post, Chakra Cycle. Ocean Mist, invoking a day at the seashore, is a subtle mix of Lavender and Lemongrass. It's a perfect intro to a long awaited Summer Season! Ruby Red Cranberry Cocktail makes me think of sitting on the deck swing with a book and a summery cocktail. YUM! It's a sweet citrusy blend of Coconut, Olive, Sweet Almond oils. And of course Sunflower oil for the Summer Sun which we so miss here in the Northeast! Blushing Bride is a simple blush colored, aloe infused, citrusy lavender soap that your skin is going to fall in LOVE with! The idea for Eucalyptus Lemon Elevation came from the need for a pick-me-up from the unrelenting snowstorms we had been experiencing this never-ending Winter. Both Lemon and Eucalyptus are known for their powers to invigorate! And it's pretty too! And my favorite, Chakra Cycle - with the healing essential oils and fragrances as well as colors representative of each Chakra. Handcrafted with two of my favorite skin loving oils - Jojoba and Sweet Almond, this soap is sure to bring inner peace and healing to both you and your skin. Sit back in the tub, light some Sandalwood incense, relax and let the Lavender, Eucalyptus, Patchouli, Bergamot, Jasmine, Lemon and Peppermint essential oils in this soap heal you. Inhale. Exhale. Namaste. Winter snow storm cabin fever + impatiently waiting for soaps to cure = lotion and cream making days! I made a creamy, fluffy new body lotion that was so nice and thick, I could put it in a jar and scoop it out. Yet it was still fluid enough for a pump bottle. You won't be able to resist this Shea Butter, Moroccan Argan Oil and Kukui Nut Oil, Jasmine scented bit of indulgence! No harsh chemicals, no preservatives. But keep in mind that without preservatives, it has a short shelf life. Therefore I only made small quantities and it is not available for purchase on the website. It can only be purchased at Markets (while supplies last). No worries, I decided to also make Orchid Cream for the June Market! See you at the Markets this season!
